Larry and Sharon became involved in square dancing 35 years ago. Sharon had learned basic square dancing during her years as a 4-H member. Larry and Sharon both had very active jobs; he as a telephone repairman and farmer, and Sharon as a K-12 physical education teacher and coach. They have been leaders in 4-H and Scouts, as well as active with youth in their church. As parents of three children involved in sports and music, they have gained oodles of experience working with young people.
Their leadership positions in square dancing include local, district, and state offices. They dance Mainstream, Plus, and Lines. Larry and Sharon love to travel and their vacations have included attending 21 National Square Dance Conventions and KC will be number 22!
